Yikes, I don't know how the time flies so fast or where it goes. Things have been slightly crazier than usual.
I had a great time in Baddeck. All went really really well here. It was hard to come home in ways. I love my family, life, school here, etc. But it is just not home the way that CB is home. I wonder if we'll ever be back there?? I feel so incapable of describing how torn I was, that I don't think I'll bother any further. Really hard to describe, but an awful feeling.
I came home with more gaelic, and many more ideas. And am really energized and focused and want to make some things really happen around here. I think there is a great future here!
Mark left today to the USA and is gone for a week. I really hope that he'll be able to get the work done and get home and won't be snowed in or otherwise affected by the weather. Whenever he does get home, he'll be on vacation. That'll be so nice. We're really looking forward to spending some time together as a family.
Amber andChris' house closes on the 15th, I can't believe how fast the time is coming. I am excited from them, and for us too. Makayla really needs a space of her own. Once they move out, we're really going to try to address that for her. I need ideas!!!
I am pretty much all finished Christmas shopping and am really happy with what I was able to buy and got great deals on some things. That's always fun. I have the few last minute things that I always have to do, but that never changes!!
I am sooooooooooo behind on cards - Christmas and otherwise, it just isn't even funny. I always mean to send them late ... better late than never, I thought. But, when the card is now going to be closer to your NEXT birthday than the one that I am late for, I'm not sure that I should send. Hope that you all know that I always think of you and love you - even if you don't get a card on that special occasion!
Things are good here on the homefront. I can't really think what else is new. Am just hanging on as usual, doing the best I can. Here's a bit of homework that I did. Berna it's about you - wonder if you can make it out. (Not sure if it is all right, but I'm trying :) )
Tha Bernadette Whitty a (Darn - I can't do accents in here!) Sydney. Tha i a' fuireach aig ceithir deug Rathad Lupin ann an Hatchet Lake agus tha i posda aig Jeff. Tha da nighean aca - Emma Grace agus Lily Mary. Tha Emma da bliadhna a dh'aois agus tha i ban. Tha i a' fuireach ann an Hatchet Lake cuiceachd. Chan eil Lily ann fhathast. Tha Emma gle mhodhail. Tha Bernadette fhein ag obair ann an oifis ann an Halifax agus tha Jeff ag obair ann an Halifax cuidceachd. Tha gaol agam orra!!

I know it's a super busy time and your place is packed so really, no worries if it's a prob...and if I do stay, don't go to any trouble for me :) I think I'm heading out with the girls for supper on Fri but won't be late. I think you have a meeting tomorrow don't you? I dunno how much we'll even see each other.
Nice to have Xmas stuff done. Don't worry about cards. Me, I dunno if I'll even get any out this year. I am pretty lazy :)
