In Full Swing

With summer that is!! We are having a great one!!

We have our van back. Not sure if it is a good thing or not, but it does look good. And we sold the trailer. For nearly double what we paid. Mark is a good salesman!!

Looks like I'm going to get to go out to BC to visit my sweetest and most lovable cousin Neenie. And hoping to get to see Craig while I'm out there too! There are lots of loose ends to tie up, and still lots of figuring to do. So far, it's been an idea and a wish, but I haven't let myself get excited one bit! Now, it really looks like it will happen and I am overjoyed!!! So excited that I can hardly stand it. I am not sure how Mark will make out, but I hope that he gets along okay. A week will be a long time for him on his own!!!

We've been doing a tonne of swimming and had some really super duper days. Had an excellent time camping at Bern and Jeff's. So much fun, great company, good food, and nice kids. It was so nice to hang out with the kiddies and have some laughs at them and with them. They were all really great overall.

Found another great beach, a lake beach which is so good for the kiddies. Will definitely get over there again that's for sure.

Life is good, and busy. But, all is well. We finally have a sink in the bathroom. And I'm thinking that you really get what you pay for. We bought a cheap faucet and it isn't so hot. Mark is going to try to jimmy rig it to be a bit better. Just a little bit of clean up left and then time to put up all the towel bars, etc. It will be so nice to have it done.

I have sooooooo much laundry to do, it is gross!!! That's what I'm up to today. Chores on rainy days. I have such a lack of discipline.

Deylin said "bainne" the gaelic word meaning milk. He's said it several times now and I am trying to remember to speak it as much as I can. I seem to only use the phrases I know and don't really get to practice the ones I'm learning too much. Found another great learning website with audio though, so that's great.

I am going to a Gaelic Immersion week from the 13th to the 17th and I am soooooooo excited about going to it. I think it'll be really great.. I hope I can keep up and that my brain won't get overloaded. Am so glad to have the voice recorder thingy so I can use it at home.

All the flowers in my "garden" are blooming and are so beautiful. Nothing like Mari's - I never saw clematis like that in my LIFE!! It was so gorgeous. But, just enough to make me smile when I'm running around here and there.

Had a nice bike ride and soccer game with Phaedra. She was really good with the ball. Really good. Have to admit that I was quite surprised since the little duck is so clumsy :)

That's all for now. Makayla has a little friend over and they are still asleep!! They were up half the night, so glad they are still sleeping!!
