Cart before the horse

Hello again,

I started posted here just like I had talked to folks yesterday and they knew what was going on ... well, I thought maybe I'd back up and catch up in case it's been awhile.

Mark and I have been married almost 5 years now - hard to believe isn't it?!?! And we still haven't had a honeymoon yet!!! Well, I called that when we bought the house. It could only be one or the other!! And it is good to have the house, but it sure would have been nice to have a trip to a sunny, sandy beach with pina colodas!! :)

We now have 3 children! And we'll have to buy another house if we have any more!!

Makayla Brianne is the oldest, and the most determined and independant. She is 9 years old now, soon to be 10. She is practically a double digit she informs me. And that is just about a pre-teen. La tee da. Born Nov 4/96 She is a great girl and I love hanging out with her!

Phaedra Maylin is next. She is a hoot. She is a teeny tiny little doll, but big in personality. She is sweet and caring and always good for a real laugh. Born Apr 15/03, ironically, she was the heaviest baby at birth 9lbs 10oz, and turned out the tiniest!

Deylin Laurie is last but not least. Nice to have a boy in the family. He is a super baby. So easy to take care of!! He just cut his 8th tooth. A molar. He is a brute of a baby and has just started standing up. He coos and babbles a lot and is a mama's boy. He has a boat load of patience! Born Sept 19/05 ... he is almost 1 - and I can't believe where the time has gone!!!

Since having Deylin, I am at home. Previously I had been doing accouting work for myself, and outside the home. Now, with all these kids, daycare costs outweigh what I can make at a traditional job, so I am staying home. For now at least. In Sept, I'd like to look at evening/weekend jobs. It will suck, but $ makes the world go round. In the meantime, I have become a Creative Memories consultant so that I can at least support my hobby, and who knows where it could grow. www.creativememories.com

Mark is still working in the IT field and getting a little more specialized with each project he works on. Currently, he is working for MTS Allstream. It is a Halifax based job, but I'm not sure when they ever intend to have him actually working in Halifax. He has been working in St. John's, NF from Monday-Friday since April 24. It was supposed to be for 3 months. But, that was a while ago now. And I feel totally done. It really is like being a single parent. I do support him though, and I know it will be great for his career now and in the long run.

That's about all our news. We are a happy, busy little family. Actually, Amber keeps telling me we are not little anymore. True true. We are always on the go, rarely caught up on housework. But the kids are great, very proud of them. And we are sucking as much out of life as we possible can. The kids are getting lots of enrichment, and making lots of memories.

Hopefully, they'll remember them all when they grow up!!!! hehehe
