Well, again I'm sitting here and just can't believe how long it has been since I posted, I am sooooo stunned!!!
Looks like Kelly in getting married in NB now, so that might take off some $$ pressure. I can't believe how fast it is coming!!
Mark and I spent late last week painting. What a difference a coat of paint makes. It is a terrible drywall job in the basement, but the paint still helps. If there was any doubt - well, there was doubt really as this has never been an issue - I am afraid of heights!!! I think it is something that is coming along with age and I really HATE it!!
It seems that I am better at cutting in than Mark. Due to the crappy drywall job, we can't tape, or the wall comes off with the tape, so we had to cut in. It isn't perfect by any stretch but better than DH on that point, which meant that I had to get up on the ladder above the stairs. I was literally about to throw up. And I couldn't shake it. After lots of self pep talk, I did get up there, and actually it was fine once I was up there, but the getting up? OMG it was awful. I really can't imagine what a real true phobia would be like. It must be really awful. Awful.
So, anyway I did get up there and then again for the second coat and it is all done. It could be better, but I think in trying to fix up the lines, I/we would only make em worse .....
Met with our insurance gal last night. My god, I think you could spend all of your income on insurance!!!!! And it is a gamble, you might never need it. So, we're covered for life, me for critical illness, and the mortgage is covered. So, I hope that we're good for now at least!!
The kids had a really good Easter. We had DH's parents over for a visit and supper on Fri. And then the girls went over there for the night. We went over there for supper on Sat and did easter eggs and then went over to Amber's for the night. Everyone was tired and cranky in the a.m. as the kids had extremely little sleep, so we came home early and everyone had a nap, well not Makayla but she did rest and she was in great spirits. it is so funny, she loves her dancing so much, she dances to go to the bathroom, to go to the kitchen, to put away her laundry etc etc. It is a riot.
I think the baby said "all done" and "there" a couple of times. Man, he's slow to talk! I'll be glad when he graduates from "eh eh", it is so hard to decipher sometimes. I think he'll be really good at charades tho as he does manage to get his point across!!
Phaedra was thrilled to live on chocolate for 2 days, she's in detox now!!!
DH is looking to get off the project he's on. It is at a dead stop now and there are 7 PMs on it now. Can we say too many cooks in the kitchen??? He has some other opportunities, so I think it'd be good to move around a bit more, instead of stagnating to death at the current one ....
I can't believe the huge dump of snow that we had. I heard the forecast, but didn't believe it cause it was sooooooooooooooo nice. It seems like it just totally came out of nowhere!!!! It was the nice kind of snow too. But, it felt so much like Christmas, it was really weird.
Makayla still has a really bad reaction to dogs :( I feel so bad for her as she loves them so much. Even a short time and she is bad. I could have given her a preventer but didn't know Troy was taking her around a dog. She had more Pulmonary Function Tests in the last couple of weeks too that said she still has asthma. Wah! Still hoping for her to grow out of it completely. We have been lucky though really, not many flare ups, and not too bad when she does flare up. Marks sports hard though ....
Today, I'm taking M to physio, she hurt her finger over a week ago, but we had a really long wait. And have to go check out tile, and pick up a package, and get invitations for P's party. I can't believe how late I am on that either!! D'oh!!!
We're having her party at playground so should be fun for all the little ones.
I can't think of what else I was wanting to write ...
OH YEAH! The title, well ... I've been invited to facebook a bunch of times and I keep deleting it. In a moment of weakness, I caved and joined. And am so glad I did. I don't really have time to keep up on it the way it is designed, but I've made connections with soooooo many old schoolmates, it is really awesome. It is a network of friends, and once you connect with someone, you can see their friends list. So, when I found one schoolmate, I usually found one or two more on their list. Neato. I hope it'll be a lot of help when we try to get a reunion organized. And it is just so nice to see how other people made out and grew up. And who they married, etc. So it's been fun. They also have networks to join for region, work, school and interests, so you might find some folks there too.
But, like I said I don't have time to do all the posts - as you know!! - etc, but it is great to make the connections at least.
Signing off for now ....

I haven't given into the Facebook frenzy but I'm sure I will someday. Can't do it from work so some evening, when DH's not on the computer, I may get on it.

Facebook is addictive! Neat to see who you find and connect with there though.
I am with ya on the heights thing...makes it hard to do a lot of things.
Great that you had a good Easter.
