A sushi date

Mmmmmmmmmmmmm good! My BF Bern got us free tix to go see The Reaping. Before the movie, we went out for sushi. Yummy!!! We went to Minto I think it was called. Just a little place, but super good. I had the mackeral (my fav), eel and california. And we tried red snapper which I really think was surf clam. Not my fav. Oh yeah, and salmon skin. That is the best ever. I'll have to order that next time for sure. They also have bento boxes that looked great. And fun.

After that we saw the movie. Holy cow, I am totally exhausted!! I was tensed up and holding my breath the whole time - well, at least when I wasn't screaming. I had my scarf half jammed in my throat and was nearly on Berna's lap. It was a good movie. But quite thrilling and jumpy outy. I don't do well with those ... even when I try hard! But, it was fun.

And I have renewed confidence in my driving ... sort of. Every time I have to drive our dinky truck, I get really nervous. The charge and check engine lights are always on. I have to put my feet on the dash to get the ebrake on. There is no rpm gauge. It doesn't like to go into 2nd gear until it has thoroughly warmed up, and it is a standard!! And it has manual steering. REally I'm fine with the rest, although I get a bit nervous driving a standard again after it has been awhile, but it always come back. It is the steering that is really hard. After tensning for the whole movie, and then driving home - i needed a massage. Thank god for arnica cream!! :)

Anyway, thanks B. It was a good night, and I was glad to get out as always!!!

Just got off the phone with my cousin. He's a historian and has lots and lots of info acquired and published about the Donovan family. I'm anxious to read all of it, and it'll help Makayla's project as well. I think I might have seen some of it as a kid, but I forget all of it. There is a video too. I'll pass it around once I have all the stuff. It'll be interesting to see.
