The saga contines ....

So, I got the crackle on the vanity, and the dark brown top coat. I LOVE it. I hope it actually matches the bathroom though!! I still need to poly it. Then it'll be done. Woo hoo!

And all the tiling is done - thank the gods!!! Floors I don't mind, like even. Walls are from the dark side. And totally suck. We did get it all in. It is not perfect by any stretch, but the imperfections are the type that I'm not sure you will notice, so I hope that is the case. We'll let everything cure while we are in Boston, and we'll grout when we get home.

We've been working like dogs for ages and ages, but there is still a ton to do and it seems to be moving soooooooooo slowly. Once we grout, I'm hoping it'll go quickly after that. We need to pick a paint colour. Not looking foward to that, I have run out of any ability to make choices.

We are all doing well though. D has a cold that won't let go, so I hope that is all that it is. He is going to be staying with Dad and Gayle, and I'd hate for them to have to deal with him when he is sick. So, hoping he gets better quick fast. His appetite has been low and he's been quite on the cranky side. So, cross your fingers.

I hate packing. I wish you could just travel without the packing part. That would be nice :) So much to think of and get ready and plan when you have the kids. With us, we can just wing it. So, I hope the girls last on this LONG drive down and back. Thank god for DVD players. That's what we're planning to do.

No time really to blog, just wanted to drop in to say hi. I hope all my other bloggers are feeling better soon and get some rest. And lots of help at home!
