Still Catching UP

I wonder if I'll ever come up with a clever title ? :) Since I figure it might take awhile, i don't bother wasting the time - hehehe.

The ferry was leaving at 6 and I got Neenie and Adam there at 5:58 so it is a good thing as there was no time for a teary goodbyes. Just hugs and well wishes. And even before I got my oil topped up, they were sailing away. I know they'll have a wonderful time with all of the Island folk and I love facebooks as I can get all the updates :)

On Friday, Mom and Reg came in to lend me a car since I had killed and towed mine. I really needed to get some errands done, so Reg stayed with Deylin who was napping and mom and I went out. We finally settled on a shower curtain and I know just what I am doing for the vanity top. I just have to actually get it done. Got some accessories for the bathroom and discovered Lush live and in person. It is a body and bath store that uses natural products and doesn't test on animals. Neenie had a bar of soap that was actually shampoo that I tried. It was awesome. You had to use very very little and I had NO tangles. I think it'll save me a fortune and it is a good thing that they don't test. The testing is really beyond creul. It is just really easy for me not to care much about what I don't know. But, once you know ... it's a different thing. So, got some shampoos there and even a shaving cream. Lotion really, but it is quite nice.

Dad hooked up the tub when he was here and we've had many many bubble baths and the kids really really love it and me too!! The window is sealed and painted. Just needs to be polyed and trimmed. Got a new fan cover too and what a difference it makes. Still have lots of clean up in there. Never get a chance to get at it. Having too much fun!!! So, I'm going to try to pick away at it while Mark is gone. Makayla is doing a Disney theatre camp this week and it seems like it'll be really great fun! Speaking of which, I'll have to leave really soon to get her.

On Friday night, Mark and Reg and D and P went to pick up M from camp. She had a really really great week and I think she even met a boy she is crushing on. They did lots of stall cleaning, grooming, saddling, riding and trotting. Her horse's name was Abby and she was very gentle and I think M fell in love.

On Saturday, we toured around the Halifax Harbour and Bedford and North West Arm on Andrew's boat with he and Sarah. A super nice couple. And it was a great time. Such a different perspective and we didn't have to deal with any parking or crowds. And BOY was it crowded. The baby even had a nap and didn't complain a bit. And I thought they might get bored since we were out for almost 6 hours on the boat. They have been so awesome lately. Especially with all of the company. They have been extra dreamy. Hard not to love them to total bits!!!! Great kiddies!!!

Then on the way home, we went to the beach and had a blast swimming. The baby LOVES the water. Phaedra didn't at this age, I think because she had not a bit of fat and would be blue in a minute. Chubby buddy does great and finds it really fun. It was so refreshing to have a duck. And we had a little picnic on the beach too.

Hmmmmmmmmm ... now what did we do on Sunday? Oh yes, got ready and went out to Elaine's sister's for a family bbq. Not the greatest day for it. But, good enough to get in a little boat ride and some swimming. And great visiting with all the family and good food. I hope we'll get out again so the kids can try the tubing and water skiing. Don't think I'd be doing any skiiing, just lots of drinking lake water. But, might be worth a try :)

Makayla had a sleepover last night, and Mark left at 4:30 this morning to go to T.O. for the week, so it was busy for me and I was late, but not too too late. I'll be in a groove by tomorrow.

Gonna go pick up the kiddies and get supper and head off to Makayla's soccer game. At least it is a good day for it!!

Hope you are all well and are not sleepi9ng now from reading all these long blogs. I have to write it all down, or I'll forget what I've done with my life!!! See you soon, hope to anyway!!!
