How can it be more than a week already since I last blogged???? Man!! Now, I have to struggle to try to remember what went on.
I'm sure that it went something like this:

chores
errands

etc etc
Oh, and I actually got to Cape Breton. It was such an impromptu trip. Decided that a.m. that I'd go down with Amber and Chris. Very short visit. But great. Didn't take any of the kids. REally missed Mark. Would have been nice if we both could have went. Anyway, it was great. In between getting eaten by flies, we swam, worked a bit, ate, partied, sang, and visited. Love it down there and wish sooooooooo much that we got out there more often. Will be down again at the end of the month and looking forward to it!!
The bathroom is still a neverending story. I cannot pick a shower curtain to save my life!!! It is really bad. We have had a bunch and still can't decide. It is painted in there. And the tub is caulked finally. Now we have lots of clean up left. Have to trim the window and need to build a vanity top. And I have NO idea what to do there, so maybe by next year the bathroom will be finished.
The van seems to be holding up, so that is a good thing. Getting a trailer hitch on it today.
The kids are all great. Man, they are really good. Makayla has a foot or a knee or an ankle bothering her from time to time. Hope it is just growing. Heather, our physio gal, is on vacation. So, I've got an appt for when she's back.
I can't think of what else is new. Looks like I'll be having some company this summer and am really excited about that. Also hoping to get some visiting done in Ant and Truro and Stellerton too. Lots to fit in.
Makayla goes to riding camp on Sunday for a week. We'll miss her!!! And then she is doing theatre for the next week. And we've got soccer and dancing in there.
This weekend Dad visits and hoping to get to the Highland games and a Gaelic mass on Sunday in which I'm singing and reading. So, on that note, I'm gonna go practice my reading!!!

Holy smokes indeed! When you finally take your dirt nap, it'll be the best rest of your life...sort of.

Good to hear you got to CB. I never got in touch since we didn't plan on going to MV in the end anyway. We'll have to do it later in the Summer.
Hope you get your bathroom done soon. My next small project is painting our stuff and getting a new vanity and light in the upstairs bathroom. I hate what's there. Always something to do :)
