Shauna won't let me post - hehehe

Well, not really true, but maybe I can blame her since she's here :)

Had a great visit with her so far. Nothing to exciting going on, but nice to be together. Took her to the CM class that I had and she is soooooooooooo creative. The kids have loved seeing/having her here too.

And of all coincidences, my aunt Shirley was here too. I wish that it was easier to keep in touch living so far away and rarely ever seeing each other. She is a doll. And I can just tell that we'd really be friends if we were closer. She has a great wit and sense of humour. And is filled with so many stories and histories. She's in touch with all the family and remembers everything. And she thinks the world of dad and that I love too. So, we got to see her for lunch and a visit and it was great. I hope she gets back!!

Forgot to tell you that Shauna drove all the way home from the CM gt in Halifax. She has her learner's and she did awesome. I wasn't even nervous.

Last night she and Makayla wanted to go to a movie, so DH and I dropped them off and then went to the Celtic Corner. It is my new fav place. The food was super!! AND they even had entertainent there. Early on a Thursday!!! Awesome. Now if only I could get DH to dance ever - anywhere. Still a major work in progress. He is embarrassed. I say - who cares?!?!?!?!

Anyway, i had Irish Cream mussels and they were outstanding!! My eyes were bigger than my belly when I ordered that for an app AND chicken leek pie for supper. D'oh. Anyway, I couldn't even nearly eat it all, but it was all sooooo delicious. I dreamt of living in Ireland the whole time :)

And as an interesting point, we "might" have an amazing opportunity. Not sure if it will pan out. Mark is wanted in two places at once. And it might look bad if he left the project right now. They are in a "replanning" stage and that's never good. If they had planned from the get go, they'd be set. But, they really want him to go to the Netherlands. And no one will go. So, they are willing to send him and us. Initially they think it is for 2 months. So, maybe the kids and I can go for like a month or something. 2 hour train ride from Paris, a jump from so many countries and we could ski in Switzerland. I'd never have called myself a dreamer , but I am beginning to think that I totally am!!!

I just think that we should fight for these opportunities when we get them and fight like heck to make them work. So, as you can imagine about a hundred things would have to fall into place in order for us to do this, but I think it is worth dreaming about and trying to figure it out. I find it all very exciting!!

That's all the news for now - glad to get caught up :) Story of my life :)

Amazing news is right!! You know I love you and would HATE to be apart from you but DO take these opportunities. The kids are young. Just go! As long as we have email & blog, we'll be in touch. :)
