Yay - it's nice to get back to playgroup. We missed all of Sept due to sickness and missed while in Ireland etc etc, so we went back today and the kids had a blast!!
The baby just loves the train set they have there! So, I am glad as I'm sure he'll enjoy his Thomas stuff. We got it at Tattletales. Spend 40$ and get 2 trains free, and once you spend over 50$ in a year, you are tax free for the rest of the year. Awesome deal!! The only thing is, it is really expensive. All guaranteed tho, so that helps. I am wondering about a table tho. You can get the wooden sets that aren't Thomas, but I don't know if they are compatible or not. He'll def need a table to work on.
The table is 269 and the painted board to go with it is 79, so we're not getting that! I'll have to keep looking or maybe I'll build something. Wouldn't be too hard at all.
Am going out to try to finish up shopping for the last few people I need to get for and then i need to get busy wrapping and sort out what I have for who. And what i need to get still. Then, Mark and I are going out shopping with Elaine for more Christmas stuff. I'm going to be all shopped out.
Had my first CM get together last night. I was a little nervous and ill prepared, and I think that I rambled a bit. But, all in all, went well and had fun. Am really looking forward to having regular workshops and getting up to date with all of my scrapping. It gets ahead of me quick!! Maybe we should do an all day scrap with just ourselves over the holidays if things slow down at all .....
Looking forward to some nice family time and relaxing, and it would be nice if we got a bit of snow to play in!!

Thomas stuff is expensive but they love it! Cole is losing some interst so you may have a 'train-load' coming your way :) He is getting a roundhouse and turntable for Xmas so that may spark his interest again, we'll see. He had been asking and asking for it. He also doens't have the room to leave a track set up, a table would be great so they can leave things set up...we don't have the space though for that either. Wanted to let you know that there is one on sale (sent ya an MSN msg) at WalMart for $30 from $50. Good size for him I would say and it includes other activites as well...
Oh, and pretty much all the wooden sets are compatible. We have both but since he knows the 'Thomas' trains we buy those...works fine but the cheaper ones are just that, cheaper and can break we've found.
I have a Thomas foam chair I can give you for Deylin, since I got the Elmo chair (for Christmas). It's a hand-me-down from Aunt Sharon so it's yours to keep.

WAIT...shoot! It's Blues clues. LOL! But it's still all yours. ;)

hehehe I'll take the chair still - and thanks!
Elaine got the table this morning. It's very heavy she said and is worried that it won't be big enough, but we'll just have to give it a try.
I love that all of the Thomas stuff is guaranteed so that if it does break, they just give you a new one. That is pretty darn good.
