After the great visit that we had, we dropped Jeannine off in Shubenacadie to meet up with the next part of her tour. We met up with her BIL Scooter, FIL Max and nephew Vaughn. He is a little doll. Wish I had a picture to share.
Since we were in Shubenacadie, we decided to tag along with Scooter and crew and visit the wildlife park http://wildlifepark.gov.ns.ca/ . Mom, Phaedra, Mya and myself went with all the rest. It was a really nice day there too. A little chilly, but mostly just right.
We had great timing to go there, most of the animals were active and engaging. The beavers put on a great show as did the bears. The little ones really loved it and it was fun to watch them.
We got to see a little turtle getting fed as well. It was hard to believe how very fast he could eat. He was having grapes and basically inhaled them. Much faster than Moonglow the bunny could eat them. And they had little bunnies there too which was neat to see because then we had an idea of what Moonglow actually looked like. So hard to tell just from the pictures.
We needed more time though, as we missed about one third of the park. We'll catch up on that part next time. We had to rush home so Mark could finally get out on the jetski, and I needed to get home to crash from having been up the entire night before. And somehow I still managed to miss the sunrise!! How does that always happen?!?!?!
