It's been a year already?!?!?

Deylin had his first birthday on Tuesday!!!

It is just sooooo hard to believe that that much time has gone by, I can barely even fathom it?!?!?

Poor little tyke is sick with an ear infection .. the same one that he's had for a month and can't get rid of. And he has some kind of virus to boot that is giving him a nasty rash all over everywhere. I feel sooooo bad for him. He is such a good baby, it just doesn't seem fair.

So, he didn't care too too much about his birthday. He was intrigued by the wrapping paper and actually did open his gifts which was fun. His favourite was a picnic table from Aunt Shauna. He uses it as a walker all the time and loves to climb on it. Not anything like what it was intended for, but still he loves it :)

And he wasn't super impressed with the cake either. He did mash into it, but then he wasn't happy that he had icing on his hands. Didn't want to get dirty. He missed his nap and was cranky, so we called it a day.

We were going to have his party this wkend, but in light of all these germs and bugs, we're going to hold off until everyone is feeling better.

Wondering if that will ever happen?!?!? It is always something!
