I was so thrilled to learn that Jeannine (my cousin) was coming to stay with us. We were so lucky to have her for a few days of her east coast visit. She was making rounds to see all her family. And we had a great visit. We stayed up much too late – according to mom. And had great chats. I think all nighters every now and then do your heart and soul good. At least mine J And I’ve always been a night owl at heart.
She gave us some advice on little home improvements to do and now I am all motivated to get going on some projects again. I think it is something about the fall too. Just inspires me to get busy doing some things. And it feels so good to get things ticked off the to do list!!
The girlies had great fun visiting Jeannine. She is a real natural with them, and they all loved her.
We had one night out at the Old Triangle http://www.oldtriangle.com/ . Not much time though as we were so late getting out. But, it was fun none the less. We had a great dance to an Irish jig and some nice conversation with some patrons and band members afterwards. Then we went to Venus to get some pizza http://coastclassic.ca/current/hotplates/hotplates.html . It was yummy food, great company, and we did some belly dancing and met some folks there too. Very interesting.
Next time, we’ll be more on the ball and get there sooner – at least there wasn’t much of a crowd and I parked right in front of the place! J
We went home and made some ginger tea to soothe our sore throats from so much gabbing. Wouldn’t dare change a thing!!
