Papa's Pancakes

Yum yum yum!!!

An idea I hadn't heard ... in your pancake recipe, use half the flour it calls for and sub the rest with oatmeal. They were the best pancakes I think I've ever had. And very nutritious and very filling.

I usually put twice as many eggs so the kids are at least getting something healthy ... that's what I tell myself anyway :)

Just wanted to share the good idea!

Awesome! I'll try it when I'm allowed to have pancakes again. :)

What I do (using my mom's Country Style Pancake recipe) is sub 2/3 of the flour (1 cup) with whole wheat flour. Very yum and less "gluey".
