What's in store in 2007??

Well, I guess I've given up on resolutions ... I've made them in the past and they last for a week or so if I'm lucky. So, I'm thinking that if I change my terminology, I might have more success.

So, I'm setting some goals. And I'm going to try to get a bit selfish. I am taking me time in one form or another as often as I can. I think it'll be good for my health and good for the health of others in my company.

I am going to Curves on a trial membership and called Cole Harbour Place today. They said we can check it out anytime, so I'd like to visit there over the next couple of days. It is cheaper for us to have a family membership there for swimming, skating, fitness classes and weight/cardio room than it is for me to go to Curves or Mark to go to Nubody's. So, it would be really good if we could make it work. And they have showers and locker rooms, etc. And they have babysitting, so I could go when Mark is working .... If only I could stick to it.

So, that is one of my goals. Time for me at the gym, or social. Getting more active and healthy will help me in a million ways and is always really good for my self image and my confidence and mood :)

The next biggy and it is a biggy - is organization. The days get away from me before I know what has happened. I am always behind in chores. And we never have enough time for Mark and I. So, I think with organization touching every part of our lives, it would be vastly improved. Like better planned meals, chores and times. Not to be rigid, cause if you know me, you know I'll never be that :)

I'd like to get to the end of the day feeling like I accomplished something. And when someone asks "What did you do today?", I'll be able to tell them. If I had a list, I could check it off, and I think that would feel good.

So, I'm on the hunt for some good crock pot recipes, and some hints or tips if you have them. And I think I'm going to check out the Fly Lady ( www.flylady.net )again. It is hard to even know where to start when trying to organize 5 lives!!!!!
