Cranky Baby

Ugh.

Deylin is such a good baby ... but boy! was he ever cranky today. He STILL has an ear infection. For like the last 6 weeks or something. I just can't figure it out. He is not on dairy. He does not have a cold or runny nose, but he can't get rid of the fluid.

It is not acutely infected at the moment. Just rosy and lots of fluid. But, I know it is still bothering him because he is picking at it all the time.

We got a referral to the ENT and we have the appt Oct 24. That was quick. So, I guess we'll just see what they have to say. I am giving him Benilyn now to try to "dry up" the fluid, but really hate having him on drugs of any kind. And it makes him sleepy, poor little guy. I'm trying to give it to him when he'd normally be sleeping anyway.

And I'm sure that it only gets irritated and he lies down to nurse.

So ............... crossing fingers that he'll grow out of this stage.

Wonder if this is related to his teeth coming in?!?!
