On Saturday, we had the event at Cole Harbour Place ... all day scrapbooking. It was really fun. We dressed up a bit and Makayla was a great help. She didn't do a lot of scrapping, more socializing than anything else. But, was still a lot of fun to have her around. She is a doll!!!
This was my first event, so I was a bit nervous, but it all went well .. can't wait till the next one in Nov at the Old Orchard Inn. I am looking sooooooo forward to it. It will be really nice to get away.
Sat night, I was pooped and we just lazed around.
On Sunday, we wanted to see Mark's nan. She has bladder cancer and is having surgery on the 30th. So, we were going to take the kiddies over in their costumes to cheer her up. She was running the roads though, so we visited Elaine and finished up Makayla's guide badges. My god, their is a lot of work to them. Certainly more than I remember doing!!! She passed them in yesterday and earned her Creative Craft and Computer Skills badges. So, she is pretty proud.
And we just took it easy for the rest of the night and watched Desperate Housewives. My fav :)
