Friday Night

Well, husbands ... will they ever get it??

I've got to give Mark credit though. He planned a night out for us and a babysitter. He even called and arranged all. We went to the The Keg for supper with friends (Andrew's bday). It was my first time. It was very delicious. The steak didn't impress me, but everyone else loved it. I just like it when it melts in your mouth. I actually had to chew this stuff! I think I wasn't meant to be a meat eater :)

Then after that we went to Kartbahn. It was really fun. Watching the folks before us was scary as the floor was really slippery and the cars were drifting rather than turning. So, I figured for sure that I would be doing donuts and end up going the wrong way on the track. That is about all I can do in a video game!!

Anyway, I was much better than I thought, and the drifting looked a lot scarier than it really was. I was grinning the whole time, but couldnt' understand how the same boy could pass me 4 times when I had the pedal to the floor. I guess it is all about the path you take on the track. I must have been turning wide :)

My ride ended aburptly when someone crashed me into a post. I got the wind knocked out of me, bruised ribs on the steering wheel and broke my back even more. Somehow, I knew that would happen. Oh well. I am fine. And would love to go again someday.

So, we got home at 11:30 pm and I had to prepare for a scrapbooking event and was just soooooooooooo tired. That is why I said will they ever get it??? Mark invited me to do this about 2 weeks ago and I said NO. Because I was too busy and too much to get ready and wanted to be in bed early. But he didn't listen and thought he coudl help and planned a "surprise" to do the very thing he already invited me to do. So, we had fun and made the most of it, but won't do that again.

Was up till 2 getting ready, very tired the next day .... and was late for the event!! Good effort tho Mark!! :)
