The weekend was great and got a lot done. Just wish the back wasn't so bad!!
Phaedra and I went to see Open Season with B, J & E. It was great. Phaedra was so funny, I really wish that I had had a video camera to capture her awe. It was at the IMAX and in 3D - her first one.
She was reaching out to touch the screen while it was raining during the movie and wondering why there was no rain on her hands. She clapped throughout, squealed in delight, and gasped in anticipation. It was just precious.
And she gabbed on the whole drive over to Halifax, and on the whole drive back. She wanted to know how to get there and if we'd find it, so we turned it into a little Dora game and I was Map. We had a blast.
I get this kind of time with Makayla all the time, she was at Irish dancing so couldnt' come, but it was nice the way it turned out. I think P was happy to have some solo mom time too.

Sounds like a lot of fun! Wish we had one here, I can't wait to take the kids. I bet they'd be just like P :) Small town = not much to do though, I wish I was up there...will have to make that trip!
Hey Mari, next time work takes us, I'll let you know and maybe you can plan a trip around it. We generally go soon after a new IMAX movie is released. It's such a nice treat!
